Respect. When I learn to respect myself, other people will respect me. How can I develop respect for myself? By keeping my mind positive and encouraging myself to grow and change for the better. Demanding respect because of my position or background is simply arrogance. On the other hand, listening with humility and valuing other people's advice naturally earns me respect. I get back exactly what I give out.

Szacunek. Gdy uczę się szanować siebie, inni ludzie będą szanować mnie. W jaki sposób mogę sobie rozwinąć szacunek do siebie? Dzięki posiadaniu pozytywnej postawy umysłu i dodawaniu sobie odwagi do wzrastania i zmiany na lepsze. Żądanie szacunku z powodu pozycji lub pochodzenia jest po prostu arogancją. Z drugiej strony, słuchanie z pokorą i docenianie rad innych ludzi, w sposób naturalny zasługuje na szacunek. Otrzymuję to, co rozdaję. 

Self respect. As we mature spiritually there is less need to have our self-respect bolstered by praise and special attention. As our thought processes become more compassionate and less self obsessed, we feel increasingly satisfied with ourselves and our lives. We relate to people more easily and feel no need to draw attention to our successes or complain about our problems. 

Cleanliness. The most important places to keep clean and tidy are my mind and heart. If I allow thoughts to flourish that I wouldn't want to see the light of day, I can never have any real self-respect. By starting each day in quiet reflection and pouring positive, loving thoughts into my mind, I gradually clean out cynicism and unkindness.

Czystość. Najbardziej ważnym miejscem do utrzymania czystości i porządku jest umysł i serce. Jeśli pozwolę myślom na rozwijanie niechęci do oglądania światła dnia, wtedy nigdy nie będę miał prawdziwego szacunku do siebie. Poprzez rozpoczynanie każdego dnia spokojną refleksją i wlewania do swojego umysłu, pozytywnych i pełnych miłości myśli, stopniowo oczyszczę się z cynizmu i braku uprzejmości.

Dignity. In order to maintain dignity, I stay in the sunlight of contentment and keep out of the shadow of desires.

Godność. Aby zachować poczucie własnej wartości, przebywam w słonecznym świetle zadowolenia i trzymam się z dala od cienia, w którym są pragnienia.
